Bit-by-Bit with Nihra & Family

Two weeks ago we went to Welly (Wellington) ibu negara NZ to daftar and buat passport Wafi at the High Commision. Pegi naik Jetstar ( ayah tak beli tiket Wafi, mentang-mentanglah free!! nasib baik boleh register kat counter, ialah-takkan tak bagi wafi naik kan...heheh) but balik we decided to pusing bahagian east north island. So we drove from Welly to Napier, singgah Palmy nak tengok kampus Massey Uni dan wind farm. At Napier melawat Arataki Honey center. From Napier to Gisborne, perjalanan naik bukit turun bukit (about 3.5 hours). Kat Gisborne pusing-pusing bandar je. Then ke Tauranga, lalu bukit juga, tapi ada sungai (around 4.5 hours). Di Tauranga pegi Kiwi 360 dan juga bandar Mount Maunganui dan Tauranga. Balik ke Auckland, 3 hours trip! Fuuh...the perjalanan was interesting..pemandangannya..subhanALLAH. Nak pegi semula?? NO thank you!!..hahah.. The most interesting place is Windfarm di Palmy. Banyak sangat turbines. Mula-mula nampak dari jauh, then makin dekat..then atas kepala

Jalan-jalan ke kiwi orchard at Te Puke. Took the kiwi tour which give you the tour of the orchard and also the kiwi factory. Sangat menarik tempat tersebut. From April- June adalah musim picking, but the fruits is separuh masak lagi. The reason for picking is for export. We are not allowed to pick the fruits..posing je boleh. During the picking season, they have over 20000 pekerja that comes from all over the world. Habis picking, they will upah an expert untuk mencantas dahan-dahanya. During spring, musim pendebungaan. They actually used bees for that!! Just imagine, they will lepaskan beribu2 bees for pendebungaan. Thats why industri bees juga banyak di NZ. There's only green and gold kiwi fruits now. But in 2-3 years, there will be a red kiwi fruits!!
